The Ludicrousness of It All: Rapper Ludacris Attacks Hillary Clinton in Song

Cris Bridges, otherwise known as Ludacris, a three-time Grammy Award-winning rapper, calls Hillary Clinton a "b*tch" in a verse of his latest song.

Both the Obama campaign and a former Clinton aide have denounced the song.

In the verse Ludacris says, "Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant." Later  in the song Lucris encourages blacks to "get off their ass" and vote for Obama.

Wow!

Ludacris has obviously lost his mind. I'm not sure what compelled him, of all people, to call Hillary Clinton something so derogatory in a song, but I wish he would have kept his comments to himself.

Ludacris whatever you are smoking, stop immediately. I expected more from you.

Ludacris was not wrong

I feel like he was not wrong for what he said he had every good reason for it all. I am one of many who believes that christopher bridges is the best rapper a live and for want ever he say's I'm behind him. He just want every black person and more to get out and vote for the better, because it's is time for a change and it starts with barock o'boma/us... So please don't make it seems like he's hate whites cause he's dont

Great Talent?

Lucifer had a great talent too, but used it the wrong way. I agree, Ludacris has lost his mind and all the rappers that uses misogyny in their music has lost their mind too.

Ludacris had to know that he was not doing Barack a favor with such a derogatory song. My question is why would he do it? Could it be he probably would make more money on a negative song than a positive one (sex and dirt sells).

With supporters like Rev Jackson, Rev Wright, Father Pfliger, and now Ludacris, who need enemies. Perhaps Ludacris is a great talent, certainly I think his acting ability is a lot better than his music, at least I relate to his acting much better. If only Ludacris could use his great talent for something good he could be a role model and reach a lot of kids.

Women are not B _ _ _ _es, we are sooooo much more. We are commuicaters, laywers, doctors, teachers, social workers, helpmates, engineers and one day will be president.

Obama Supporters Need to Chill Out

It is almost as if these people don't understand that Obama is actually trying to win the election. You're right reader, with supporters like Jackson and Ludacris who needs enemies? I'm not crying for censorship. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. But must you shout your opinions from the roof top? These supporter don't seem to understand that they are extensions of a movement that is greater than themselves. When they do or say something stupid if reflects negatively on all of us, Obama supporters.

Ludacris has a daughter that he adores. I hope that no one ever refers to her as b*tch.

Ludacris is a talented rapper. He has lots of money and acclaim. There was really no reason/excuse for his behavior. Big Boi's new song, Something Has to Give, featuring Mary J. Blige (hyperlink #2) is a wonderful illustration of the powerful combination of activism and hip hop. Luda should take some notes...for real.

Ludacris, Hillary, and the "B" Word

No, Mr. Bridges has not lost his mind. He knows EXACTLY what he's doing. He's riding the Obama gravy train. Cha-ching, cha-ching!!!

He's clearly talented enough, and savvy enough to have created an awesome hip-hop anthem for the campaign, had he intended to do so. And ironically, appealing to the campaign's support base probably would have netted him an even greater profit, than the one he will receive from the "Move bitch, get out the way" crowd.

You've Got A Point

Reader,

You make an excellent point, but I hope that you are wrong. The last thing we need is for ignorant people who mimic what they hear in rap songs to start calling Obama's competition derogatory names. I can see it now, young people at an Obama rally, chanting...Move (EXPLETIVE)! Get out the way!...and thinking it's cool because Ludacris did it. I like Obama's current anthem created by Wil.I.am...YES WE CAN!
